Shawn M. Cole, MD

Dr. Cole is a double board-certified physician in internal medicine and obesity, bringing over 20 years of distinguished medical, educational, and leadership experience. Passionate about optimizing patient health, he emphasizes preventive medicine, nutrition management, and the enhancement of mental and physical well-being.


Dr. Cole’s career includes significant roles in clinical and academic medicine. As a primary care physician, he has received numerous teaching awards and served as an assistant professor of medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. His journey began at the VA, where he honed his skills and commitment to patient care.


In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Cole holds a Master in Health Administration, a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Licensed to practice in 51 states, he is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and investor in the healthcare and technology sectors.
