Andreas Typaldos
Founder/Chief Executive Officer

Andreas Typaldos is a veteran businessman and entrepreneur, primarily in the software, technology, and technology-enabled healthcare. He has been a pioneer founder/early investor of several software, technology, and healthcare companies in the US and Europe over the last forty five years, through the Typaldos Family Office.

He has been active in the Life Sciences space as investor, founder, and Executive Board member. In addition to Kerna Health, he is currently Advisory Board Member for AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning) of AIkido Pharma; Board Member of QCD-x, an early cancer detection company; and Board Chairman, early investor, and major shareholder of an AI company, Cogia Intelligence, which has worked with Aikido Pharma and the UT Southwestern University Medical Center on using AI for early detection of markers for pancreatic cancer. He is also Chairman and majority shareholder of Scalix, a Linux email and collaboration platform company, which was acquired and developed through Microsoft funding and strategic alliance. He is also active and major shareholder in a datacenter and datacenter/IT Infrastructure software management and CLOUD computing company, CPG Hosting Managed Services Inc, and a cellular network communications company, Akern Cellular Inc. In the past, he was CEO of Xandros, a Linux operating systems company, funded through a strategic alliance with Microsoft; NetGain, an internet incubator; and Computron Technologies, an ERP software company.

Mr. Typaldos came to the US from Greece on full scholarship from Columbia University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Methods for Engineering and Operations Research. He also has a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science.

Mr. Typaldos is dual citizen of the US and of Greece and has homes and family in both countries. He is married with four children, and is active in philanthropy through the Typaldos-Vendome Foundation and the Typaldos Scholarship Program at Columbia University.
Crystal Lore
Chief Revenue Officer

Ms. Lore is a recognized leader and subject matter expert in the healthcare and Medicare Advantage space. With nearly two decades of experience in building and leading service and technology solutions companies that support clients in the healthcare sector, Crystal has developed and implemented programs for some of the industry’s leading payers, providers and patient advocate companies. She possesses deep subject matter expertise in Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act programs, with a particular focus on building industry best enrollment, member services and Five Star support programs.

Ms. Lore recently served as the Vice President of New Business Development for NationsHearing, a recognized provider of hearing related products and services to health plans. She also served as Chief Operating Officer for PBMS, a private equity investment and fund management firm where she was responsible for building the organization’s Pet Genius portfolio company that delivered both direct-to-consumer health and insurance products as well as affinity programs for globally recognized brands in the pet health sector. Prior to PBMS, she held the position of President and General Manager of Convey Health Solutions BPO services division where she built, sold and led outsourcing and technology solutions programs for some of the industry’s largest Medicare Advantage and Medicaid payer clients. Her initial endeavor into the healthcare space was as Senior Vice President of New Business Development at Liberty Medical, a publicly traded company that gained national recognition in the diabetes supply sector. The company was sold in a two billion dollar transaction to Medco in 2006.

Ms. Lore holds a Bachelor’s of Business Science in Accounting from Florida State University.
Cristoph Schmolmueller
Chief Information Officer

Mr. Schmolmueller is an accomplished software developer with more than 20 years of experience in IT architecture, System Administration, System Engineering, Database Architecture. He has built software for Fortune 50 companies and has specialized training in global networking, security and implementation.

Prior to Kerna Health, Mr. Schmolmueller successfully founded multiple development companies in Germany and Austria including CPG Ventures, a company that develops state of the art hardware, data center and hosting solutions. Mr. Schmolmueller gained his in-depth knowledge of running and managing companies through his vast variety of business endeavors throughout in career. His visions become missions and get executed.
